Getting Started Guide Day 3:
Understanding the appointment lifecycle

Whenever a client books an appointment with your business, it gets added to your calendar in Open status. Open status appointments are typically in the future and block off your schedule to keep you from getting double booked.

But what happens after the appointment time comes to pass? Depending on if the client showed up for the appointment or not, you’ll want to mark the appointment as completed or no show.

Marking the status of your appointments helps when, a year down the road, you want to know how many appointments you completed at the same time the previous year.
